Vistribe is both a tribe and framework for people who want to grow on purpose. We believe that life is shaped by the choices we make in the present moment, and that character — the sum of those choices — is the one thing that cannot be taken from us.

We encourage everyone to orient their choices toward strength, wisdom, and beauty, while practicing responsibility and connection in everyday life.

There are no dogmas or shortcuts here. Only the invitation to walk with others who are striving to become their best selves and to help shape a world worth living in.

We believe that who you are must be balanced with what you do. We call this being before doing. Both matter. That’s why we create activities that strengthen both the inner life and outer action.

Everyone is welcome to participate. You don’t have to join us or believe like us to take part. Our hope is simple: that anyone, anywhere, can grow in strength (in Vis) whether or not they consider themselves part of our tribe.

The four paths that guide this growth are the way of the:

• Warrior. Building a strong body and steady mind as the foundation for a good life, so we can face challenges and stress with resilience. Learn about our training groups >
• Watcher. Learning how the mind works and practicing awareness, reflection, and clarity, with the goal of seeing ourselves and the world more honestly.

• Worldmaker. Developing personal competence and leadership; training ourselves to act decisively, carry responsibility, and shape the world through meaningful action.

Each path can be walked on its own, but together they form a balanced way of growing stronger inside and out.

We believe that each person’s character should be the most valuable possession that a person can have. Character can be compromised by the individual, but no one else can take away a person’s character. While actions will have consequences outside of a person’s control, only the individual can decide if their actions are consistent with wise, honorable, and praiseworthy intentions. Character is built one decision at a time. We defy malevolence by choosing to have character in all areas of our life.
